The Teperberg Winery is a strongly rooted family-run winery that has been lovingly producing wine in Israel for five generations, and its history has been intertwined with the history of the State of Israel for the past 150 years.
Established in 1870 in the old city of Jerusalem by Ze’ev Zida Teperberg, the winery was the first family winery founded in the modern-day Land of Israel and has remained under family ownership ever since.
Currently, the winery is operated by Moti Teperberg, who has spearheaded a sustained period of growth, innovation, and dedication to quality in recent years. As part of this vision, a cutting-edge winery facility, one of the most advanced in the nation, was established, accompanied by significant investments in leading production technologies and premier storage methods.
Constructed on a 20-acre plot, the winery is in the heart of grape-growing vineyards at the foot of the Deir Rafat Monastery and acts as a central hub in the Judean Hills wine appellation.
Teperberg Winery’s vineyards are spread across the finest wine-growing regions in Israel, stretching from the north of the country to Mitzpe Ramon: the Judean Hills, the Upper Galilee, the Lower Galilee, Gush Etzion, the Valley of Ella, Mevo Horon, and many others.
Today, the winery ranks as the third largest in Israel.
